Biography
Judge Clint G. Bearden has served as a Superior Court Judge for the Northeastern Judicial Circuit since his appointment by Governor Nathan Deal in January, 2018. Previously, he served as a judge of the Dawson County Magistrate Court and maintained a general trial practice in North Georgia.
Judge Bearden is a proud "Double Dawg," having received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. Additionally, Judge Bearden is a graduate of the Georgia Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division Leadership Academy, Leadership Dawson County, Leadership Hall County and the Zell Miller Foundation Leadership Institute.
Professionally, he is a member of the American Bar Association, the Georgia Bar Association and the Northeastern Judicial Circuit Bar Association. Judge Bearden is involved with the Georgia Council of Accountability Court Judges and currently serves as Chairman of the Compensation and Retirement Committee for the Council of Superior Court Judges and serves on the Council's legislative liaison team.
Within the Northeastern Judicial Circuit, Judge Bearden presides over the Hall County HELP Court's Echo track.
Judge Bearden is a lifelong resident of the Northeastern Judicial Circuit and graduated from Dawson County High School. His wife, Jamey, is an educator who has taught within the Hall & Dawson County school systems. They are the proud parents of four children.
