On 9/6/2024, several of the Superior Court Judges and court administration staff were extended an invitation to visit the Department of Community Supervision’s office in Gainesville. The staff were welcoming and eager to show off recent improvements to facilities, as well as advances in supervision and accountability. The office’s Day Reporting Center (DRC) is the largest in Georgia, a testament to the community’s investment in treatment-based approaches to sentencing. The Northeastern Judicial Circuit would like to thank DCS staff for their hospitality, as well as their commitment to excellence in supervision. Thank you!
