Juvenile Court Judge Alison Toller, of the Northeastern Judicial Circuit, was sworn in as the newest member of the Judicial Council of Georgia on Friday, August 21, 2026. The Judicial Council is chaired by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia and meets throughout the year to address specific aspects of court administration and improvement. There are 29 members representing every class of court and the State Bar of Georgia.
Judge Toller is currently the President-Elect of the Council of Juvenile Court Judges of Georgia. She joins fellow Judicial Council Members Jason J. Deal, Chief Superior Court Judge of the Northeastern Circuit and current Administrative Judge for the 9th Judicial Administrative District, and Patty Walters Laine, Hall County Probate Judge and current President of the Council of Probate Court Judges of Georgia.
