Hall County Government will host two additional town hall meetings on Wednesday, July 8, and Wednesday, August 12, both at 6 p.m. at the Hall County Government Center to discuss the proposed Judicial Complex Expansion project, including potential locations and current status.

“Following the first town hall meeting in June, Hall County Government will host two additional meetings to provide residents with an update and an opportunity to hear from County leadership,” Interim County Administrator John Gentry said. “As we continue evaluating potential locations, we want residents to understand the process, ask questions and stay informed about the decisions that will shape this project.”

Discussion topics will include potential expansion sites, with details on topography, infrastructure and long-term needs that will guide the decision-making process. The goal is to ensure the selected location delivers the best return on investment and long-term value for both the community and the court system.

The Judicial Complex Expansion will be funded using the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax Program (SPLOST IX), which was approved by voters in the Nov. 2025 election.

The town hall meetings will take place in the Commission Meeting Room, located on the second floor of the Hall County Government Center at 2875 Browns Bridge Road in Gainesville. For questions leading up to the meetings, contact pio [at] hallcounty.org (pio[at]hallcounty[dot]org).
